Observe Fraser's untamed wilderness, dramatic dunes, sub-tropical rainforests and crystal clear freshwater lakes while learning from your guide the many treasures that this island possesses.

Day 1
Your day starts with courtesy pick-up from your accommodation in Hervey Bay before boarding the 'Fraser Dawn' for a 45 minute cruise across the Great Sandy Straits.

Spot diverse marine life on your journey across to Moon Point whilst listening to commentary from your guide. You shall travel by 4WD coach to the middle of Fraser Island to enjoy a tranquil rainforest walk through Yidney Rainforest amidst towering Satinays and Kauri Pines and observe the abundant wildlife and different varieties of birds this island substains
An all-you-can-eat buffet lunch awaits you at the Fraser Island Retreat.
After lunch, you travel south to Lake Wabby for a swim and a walk. Lake Wabby is the deepest lake on the Island with massive sand dunes.
On your return to the Retreat for a barbecue and salad dinner, you stop to explore Rainbow Gorge. Accommodation tonight is at the Fraser Island Retreat.

Day 2
After a Continental buffet breakfast, you travel along the Eastern Beach, enjoying a swim at beautiful Eli Creek, a photo stop at the historic Maheno Shipwreck and the chance to marvel at the sand formations of the Coloured Sands as they're sculptured by time.
Next it's walking to the top of Indian Head where the views are spectacular.
After a picnic lunch, we visit the freshwater tortoises at Lake Allom. Here we enjoy a lengthy walk around the lake before returning via Moon Point back to Hervey Bay.

DEPARTURE: Every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at 8.30 am from Urangan Boat Harbour.
Times to be advised for courtesy pick-ups. Returns approximately 17.30 pm the following day.
