SUGGESTED ITINERARY*

Imagine being collected from your accommodation in a beautifully presented 1951 Jaguar, chauffeured to some of the most scenic parts of Port Phillip Bay and then touring the Great Ocean Road with it's spectacular scenery for two days.

Day 1
You shall be collected from accommodation at 08.30 hours. Drive down the eastern side of Port Phillip Bay, via Melbourne's beautiful bayside suburbs, to the Mornington Peninsula. This peninsula has some spectacular views of both the bays that are near Melbourne as well as some superb wineries. We will visit Arthur's Seat Lookout, named after the hill of the same name in Edinburgh, where we will see some of the most spectacular scenery. Next we will drive to Sorrento, the site of the first official settlement in Victoria in 1803, this is a charming village built in sandstone and beautifully restored.
There is time here for a wander around the foreshore while we wait for the ferry.
We will catch the car ferry across the entrance to Port Phillip Bay to another historic settlement called Queenscliff. Lunch will be taken in one of the many fine restaurants in this area. Lunch includes (if required) three courses, a glass of wine and coffee.

After lunch we will depart for Apollo Bay travelling on the fabulous Great Ocean Road. Approximate arrival time at your accommodation for the night is 16.30 hours. The bed & breakfast where we will be staying is 'Lalor House' just off the Great Ocean Road in Apollo Bay. Lalor House is set in ten acres of Australian Bushland complete with walks and commanding views of the ocean. Your hosts have many year's experience in the hospitality industry and offer you a unique bed & breakfast stay. Whilst in Apollo bay you will be able to walk on the surf beach, stroll in the rainforest, amble through the township of Apollo Bay or just relax and breathe in the pristine air.

Day 2
Your pick up time from your accommodation would be at 09.00 hours.
Today we tour the Great Ocean Road and see the spectacular 12 Apostles on the southern coastline of Victoria. We continue along the Great Ocean Road around to the Bay of Isles, then inland through some fine dairy country. We pass through several towns on the way to Ballarat. Ballarat is a city that was built in the gold rush days and there are still many fine examples of Victorian heritage in the city.

A visit to Sovereign Hill is an option as is the 'Sound and Light show' at night. The show re-enacts the historical events and uprisings on the goldfields in 1854. This means a late arrival in Melbourne.
The approximate arrival time in Melbourne without the sound and fight show is 18.00 hours.
