The Whitsundays, made up of 74 islands are located in the center of the Great Barrier Reef. Situated between Mackay and Townsville off the North Queensland coast, the waters surrounding these islands are part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. It is known as the eighth wonder of the world.

With her classic lines and timeless elegance, the 72' schooner "Windjammer" is considered to be one of the most beautiful yachts ever built in Australia. Built in the best traditions of the past, offering sailing as it was in yesteryear, this is where Windjammers resemblance to her predecessors end. Below decks she is elegantly appointed with air-conditioned cabin accommodation. Her interior is adorned with New Guinea rosewood and fittings from a bygone era.

Accommodation is fully air-conditioned with a comfortable lounge and dining facilities below. The large alfresco dining and lounging area on deck is perfect for those long relaxed lunches or just curling up with your favourite book.

If you are feeling active, there is plenty of time to snorkel the fringing coral reefs, roam national park trails or just stroll one of the many secluded beaches.

Whilst Windjammer is fully crewed with Captain, cook and deckhand, guests are encouraged to take the wheel, tend the sheets, or for the more adventurous, climb the ratlines and fine-tune the canvas 70' above the deck.

3 Nights - Southern Islands - Departs Tuesday.
Tuesday:	Shute Harbour / Border Island - We depart Shute Harbour at 12.30pm under sail for Cataran Bay on Border Island for our overnight anchorage. On arrival , take a hike to Mosstrooper Peak and watch the sun set on the horizon.
Wednesday:	Border Island / Whitsunday Island - After a mornings or scuba diving the fringing reefs of Border Island, we have lunch and then set sail for the famous Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island for swimming, beachcombing, or just lazing in the sun. We then take a walk to the spectacular lookout at Hill Inlet. This is one of Australia's icons.

Thursday:	Whitsunday Island / South Molle Island - After breakfast and a quick swim, we set sail through Solway Pass via Hamilton Island to South Molle Island. At South Molle Island you can go ashore to visit the resort or join a rainforest hike.
Friday:	South Molle Island / Airlie Beach - Our last sail back to Able Point Marina for disembarkation at 10.00am.
Departure:	Southern Islands - Tuesday at 12.00pm from Shute Harbour & returns - Friday at 10.00am to Able Point Marina.
Inclusions:	Accommodation on board; Captain; Cook and deckhand; All meals with morning and afternoon tea; Snorkeling gear; Beach activities and linen.
